The heater doesn't work, and hasn't for a couple years. The temp. control on the dash doesn't slide left and right due to the clamp at the end of the cable not snapping into the bracket. The clamp itself looks fine but will not stay in place (lock on) so I want a new one. Issue is, I can't find one and hope a part number, or other info gained from this post will help. I will put up some photos of the part I need, sure hope someone knows how to get one~

I have a full mechanism that I can sell you, but that's a bit pricey for just a clamp.

I think if it were in a more friendly work location & if I didn't have bi-focal vision aids I might be able to get it to stay. That said I got the others without any issues

Yes, I had that issue with their site as well. I sent an email to their customer service department, detailing what parts I needed, and they replied promptly. When I did this a few weeks ago, I was informed that most of the parts I needed were not in stock, so I didn't end up placing an order. Consequently, I can't explain how to complete an order using their faulty website (perhaps by phone).
I was thinking the same thing; it's a basic part, with a pin (hook) on one end and a snaplock on the other side. The cable runs under it, being pressed down. The 'floating' lip in the middle of the clamp has 2 teeth that bite into the cable, preventing it (if all is well) to slide back and forth.
These parts are all present in the pic you share, so it leeds me to believe your part may be deformed, or the cable is (locally?) thinner.
As a simple solution; would it not help if you put one or more zip-tie(s) around the cable, e.g. one just next to the teeth, and one on either side of the clamp?
Possibly even another, running under the cable, and crossing over the teeth?
As there are 8 of these clamps on the heater control mechanism; (one on either side of the cable, 4 cables).
Does the problem 'move' if you switch 2 clamps? This test would confirm if the problem indeed lies in the clamp - possibly it could be loose on the other side as well.

You also mention that the clip itself doesn't stay in place: from that i understand that it rotates (a bit) around the pin of the clips that dives into the hole. Is the other end actually correctly snapped in place?

See how the straight edge of the clip bites into the underside of the base plate?
Don't be confused by the black cable that runs in front of the clip; that belongs to another clip. The clip holds the cable that is just behind it, peeping out on the left side of the pic.

From the above picture I can see mine is too long. If I have the hook end that goes thru the hole pulled down so that the 90 degree bend is right against the edge of the hole (as above) the other end (the snap end) is too long to even touch, but only a hair too long. I think it's just been pulled a little too hard too long.
