HELP! FRONT ROTORS WANTED!

FREE: Too many 2800 used front rotors...

I have a pile of barely worn rotors - non vented from conversions. Free for pickup this weekend at shop. Gone to trash on Monday. Believe these are now very hard to find.

Jim at Mesa performance sourced me out some new rotors for the bav! Just wanted to say thanks for all the help and resource info every one!

I ended up sourcing out the OEM front rotors from Jim at http://mesaperformance.com/
Best to just call and talk to him directly. Highly informative and helpful when coming to these old beamers.

I think next time I need to replace front rotors I’d go this route. Seams the E9 front vented rotors are way easier to source and that this kit would then accommodate them for the E3

Help! Front Rotors needed!

That is a interesting idea. I think I saw the upgrade kits on Ireland engineering. Little to pricy for me at the moment I though. Solutions that work for E9 owners, often aren't cost effective for us E3 owners. It just means we have to look harder and be more creative. :)

I didn’t read the whole thread, so not sure if you have replaced or this helps. I was having trouble with sourcing front rotors in January, Mesa had rear (which I ordered-thanks), but not fronts. Bill Arnold (in San Rafael CA) who did the work for me said he happened to have a pair left for my 72 Bavaria. When I brought the car in he said the front calipers had been swapped to that of an e12. News to me, but anyway, he may still have the NOS front rotors for 72.

It think German "eBay Kleinanzeigen" is the best place to look for NOS. I was lucky being able to buy NOS ATE discs there.

There was also one offer on eBay Italy, but the manufacturer was unknown to me that time.
