Unfortunately, I did not take this apart, and the person that did, didn’t take any photos

Does anyone have some photos of this installation? what olds the console in place and together

When I was working on this before, someone identified the long part in the 3d photo as a radio support, but I don't know how it is attached, I suppose the 'bow' points to the rear?

The third picture is actually a bracket that goes between (separating) the two side panels at the end closest to the seats.

Here is a picture when i took mine apart. I don’t have AC but I think the concept is the same. The radio bracket spans the two sides up higher while these are anchored at the bottom and then bolted to the floor

Sorry, in my photo the side vinyl walls are still in place but the center portion with the switches and the shifter surround have been removed. Was just trying to show the brackets that span the “floor” of the console. The two vinyl side panels attach to those two brackets and that unit is put into the car. The radio bracket spans the area below the vent.
The connection between the actual “console” the the switches and the side panels is a bit wonky. That wooden block (should be two of them) screws into the inner side of each vinyl panel and the console screws down into that from above

this thread has some great pictures by @coupesport which show all the parts labelled. Hopefully this helps

yes all helpful,
maybe if I reread all this, but does one assemble the 2 sides of the console, with the platform with the switches 'out of the car', then put it in place as a unit? if so, how / where do you attache it to the car?

You need to do one side at a time as there is one machine screw under the removable grilles that attaches to the heater fascia and then three coarse screws that use speed clips to also hold the side panel to the a/c panel (2) and (1) to the lower bar shown in the pics. Then you can drop the shift platform over the shifter and attach with two coarse screws to those two small wooden blocks. My coupes didn’t have that rearmost metal bracket and it isn’t needed anyway, the shift platform keeps everything together.

yes, sides in place first, then the panel that houses the window switches, before switches are pushed in place there is access down through 2 of the switch holes to install a screw through a bracket into the small wood block on the inside of each console side piece.
