Hey Norcal guys, shouldnt we have a cruise too?

It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to go on the drive this Sunday. The back of the ignition switch popped out on my 3.0 csi and I wasn't able to put it back together and get the car started yesterday. I've got a new switch on order, but I doubt that I'll receive it and get it installed by Sunday's drive. Bummed,
John

Forecast is for rain/wind on Saturday and partly sunny on Sunday. When should we make the call? I say we all check the board Saturday evening between 6-8pm and decide then. I don't have a problem going if its partly sunny and I don't have a problem pushing it out til a better weekend.

I would love to come for the cruise but am currently in Florida on an extended hang gliding vacation.
Won't be home until late May.

Weather here would be great for the cruise, but deadly for long term ownership due to the amount of moisture.
Have fun and drive safely!

Well, I don't think I'm going to wait. The weather hasn't been good enough for me to drive my coupe and I'm not confident enough in it to take a 300-400 mile trip. I've only put about 50 miles on the car since buying it a couple years ago (hasn't been roadworthy) and I think I'll pass on this outing and catch the next one.

Sorry guys.

Dan

C'est la vie. Sounds like no consensus. I guess I will burn down the 1 southwards with 1-2 other coupes from SF. If it doesn't rain I'll post pics.

Well it was beautiful in SF. I drove down south of the city a bit, then once the car was clean took some pics in SOMA. A few came out ok.

Awesome! I got my car on the road with my 16" Alpinas today and put about 50 miles on it. The list is getting shorter but the car is drivable. My center tie-rod is so worn that the car drifts back and forth and pulls slightly when I hit the brakes. That will be next. I'll try to get some pics of my car this week. I too have the Carl Nelson springs on my car and it sits just a hair high for my taste. If it settles at all it should be good. These are springs made in one of his older lots from a couple years ago.

Let's pick another day...

Dan
