Post #20 of this thread shows how I measured and determined where to cut the shock tower.
I cut 20 mm off the top of the shock tower. Using a hose clamp helped a lot to measure and
keep the cut flat and level. The green tape shows a faint "20" which is measured from the top
of the hose clamp to the bottom of the flat bar.
I think the springs are more a factor in the ride height left to right. I think you would need a
difference between the shock tower heights of greater than 1/2 inch (12mm) to cause an uneven
ride/shock response.
