And I think I was instrumental in John acquiring his coupe. Seems like you've had it much longer but that's another story.
I bought mine in Jan 2005, sight unseen on eBay, when it arrived I found a few surprises to say the least. And I thought $10K was a lot back then, best purchase I've ever made in hindsight!

I bought my coupe almost eleven years ago. I found it in Tucson, because of the AZ heat it needed just about everything but the body was just about perfect. It was my favorite coupe color, had a sunroof, manual transmission, LSD,working AC,and small bumpers (plus great period aftermarket items like recaros, BBS rs wheels, Stahl headers, Webers, etc...). I jumped on it.
This is the longest I've owned a car. I love it, it's just part of the family.

Interesting thread but there's a better one!
I've owned my Coupe since 2007, so seven years, including nearly one full year in the resto process.
