I am researching using the L-JET manifold on a B35 and would like to use the one piece tubular L-jet fuel rail with adapters to fit later O-ring style injectors to the fuel hoses. My concern is that when I looked at adapters at efihardware.com they cautioned that it is unsafe to rely only on the clips that hold the injectors to the adapter because if a clip comes off or otherwise fails there is nothing else holding the setup together if the rail itself isn't independently secured in some way. The later motronic fuel rails are secured to the manifold and I am guessing it is at least partly for safety.
Should I be concerned about using an L-JET rail with newer injectors and adapters? I would like to have the option of higher flow and more modern injectors but am unsure how to address this potential issue.
I welcome all thoughts on this issue.
