It looks like it has Scheel seats and all 3.0 CSL where equipped with these. But a sunroof? and missing the stainless guard flairs? ..... Hard one to call.
Fantastic colour though!

Markos,

The last CSL was produced in 1975 so it could have had that grille when new.

Sorry not trying to create any confusion. Just recently someone told me that all CSL's got a five-bar grille.

Anyway - more on this car. Also looks like it has power windows up front.

My CSL 2275030 did not and does not have hood pins.

Just spotting what I see for others to interpret.

Csl

Hi,

Carb: 2210xxx-2211xxx-2212xxx = no interior release system

RHD: 2285xxx = interior release system

LHD: 2275001-2275429
LHD Bat: 2275430-2275539
LHD Bat: 4355001-4355057
For the above mentioned injection LHD CSLs - including the bats, both systems were available. The interior release system normally factory with the city-pack cars. A non city-pack CSL should have no trace of the interior release system (except the mounting points for the catches on both sides of the planum chamber).

Cheers

Indeed, my first reaction was, this is another CSL look-a-like etc. After a second thought, I recalled that in last Bat series from -74, there are two client request cars most likely painted in Black. I ruled out one of them and in theory, taking client request indicators as Black with AC and sun roof into account, this one could be the other one.

However, despite at lot of CSL attributes - that all are possible to still get - including the "hard to find" plastic covers at the side of the seats, I think this car is not based on a genuine CSL. My conclusions are based on some non-CSL details seen in the engine bay.

Of course the VIN (engine + chassis) would add some clarity to the case.

Cheers
Henric

Yes looks like hinge bar bonnet attachment points on inner wings. I'm with Henric.
