This is what I've learned, done, adjusted & figured out sorting my '73 CSi. If you do not have the shop manual 'blue binder'...you should get one.
Could be any of the following, combination of and not limited to:
Incorrect timing, dirty/worn out points, cap, rotor, pulse contacts - think that's that they're called, at the base of the dist.
Check/clean harness plug under air cleaner/coil on the frame rail.
Clean terminals/test injector relay, located on the engine side of the brake booster bracket, it's the one towards the front of the car. Easier from below.
Clean ALL grounds. D-Jet is very ground sensitive.
Check all harness plugs make sure they are where they belong, clean and tight.
Idle adjustment screw, under throttle body, maladjusted?
Faulty/maladjusted fuel pressure regulator.
Clean/adjust/replace Throttle Position Switch, believe spec is throttle butterfly 1% open at idle.
What is the mixture setting at the ECU? The knob on the back left as you are looking at it has 21 or 22 clicks from lean - counter clockwise, to rich - clock wise, factory setting is in the middle.
Test, clean fuel pump relay, located above ECU on the rear seat kick panel.
Clean/replace fuel tank pick up screen.
Replace fuel filter
