Hi,
I've got an issue where my key won't turn in the ignition barrel. I've been recently having to wiggle the key a bit before it will turn - car starts fine once in ignition. However today, can't turn it - key goes all the way in - and have tried multiple keys. The steering wheel lock is on, although this problem was occurring before steering wheel lock kicked in. Is this an issue with the barrel? Or the ignition end where the barrel connects to?
I took off the steering wheel cover underneath and I see there are two rivet-like threads through a piece of metal - looks like a first stage steering lock. I assume I need to get those out to get to the barrel? Any tricks on getting those out?
Thanks
