front grilles, lights, indicators, renew all

as winter shows his abilities, wind, water, and cold, coupe hibernates

so, it is time for the to-do list

front area needs some care,

using FLUID FILM:

reflecting part was broken in left side, so using a couple of fresh parts and some rivets:

rivets are effective and clean

and now they will await the rest of the work

dirty and a little rust

some months ago i bought a second hand ones from a scrapyard:

and i started preparing them for renewal, sand blasting

and these are the renewed ones, first galvanised and then epoxi painted in black

galvanised cupoles

connectors and rubber cleaned

chromed rings too

springs and little rubbers

first dissasemble of actual headlamps

start assembly ;

i bought a NOS passenger side headlight unit this summer, and i also have an extremely good drivers side. i guess now i'll take the good one and follow DQ's advice.

they are normal standard headlamps

the three contact is due to: low beam + position lamp + ground

high beam + ground in the other lamp makes only two contacts

I swirled rubbing alcohol inside mine and it made a huge difference

they are glass fiber powders, used in sand blsting equipment
