also i used small vice grips to open the prongs
then just bend em back the steel is super strong

I was thinking of doing that as well. Seems less dangerous than trying to force this square peg out of it round hole.

For the turn signals. where did you get new rubber shrouds for the turn signals where the contacts meet on the back as well as The new plastic reflectors to replace the cracked ones?

thank you for resurrecting this thread, it has proven to be old but useful, and i admire you for searching in the forum

bought those from an uk shop, the green spark plug, it was long ago, maybe they still have them

reflectors came for preowned indicators, making one good from two medium
