Hello Gentlemen's,
for sale i have nice, complete & ready to run leather Petri 38cm/380mm steering wheel with "CSL" style square edges.
Steering wheel is genuine 380mm Petri in fully restored concours condition. Spokes/metal part was professionally galvanic re-chromed in satin. Grip part was professionally re-upholstered with natural black nappa leather. Hub is custom made on lathe of solid aluminium with added original BMW Petri splines part bolted from below with added metal adhesive in between + "sun" Petri type horn contact ring + custom plastic hub cover with black structure painted. Hub is longer type as CSL Petri, so it is ca. 1cm longer than standard CS. Original Petri BMW horn button; Center black ring was repainted with black satin paint. Steering wheel is bolted to the hub on 6x new stainless steel bolts; + set of genuine petri curved washers.
Steering wheel is ready to run in any E9, was fitted together with genuine e9 metal blinker canceller on both types of e9 steering columns (early non-regulated & later regulated) & gap is perfect (1,5-2mm).
If you don't have genuine e9 steel blinker canceller, let me know & it will be added together with the wheel.
All photo's are real & show selling steering wheel.

Alberto, great choice. good taste you must have :)

@Wladek , @Stevehose ,
Geek me out! What is "F. Stein stitching"?
Does it have anything to do with Frankenstein? or is it merely the name for the cross stitching pattern in it's T-shape?
To be true that "F.Stein" stitching was something new for me either. After google search - Frankenstein came out, so i suspected that the question was probably about rear stitching, but i wasn't 100% sure.

ps. you learn something new the whole life.

Had to google it also - not sure it’s an industry standard sewing term, but certainly descriptive!

Hardly an industry standard sewing term. I just thought that it resembled Frankenstein's stitching as
he was not done by an expert seamstress, just like the wheel.
I had never seen one sewn like that :) Petri, (except @Wladek, of course), invented a whole new, but very cool way of sewing a wheel....

Regards, Alberto
