For the benefit of oldbmwcoupes, who I do not know, I thought I would clarify something about this thread.
Oldbmwcoupes began this thread by asking about Legends East and a gathering of e9 owners at Legends East. Reading this thread may give the impression that all the coupes will be together at Legends East through some type of informal "meet up and drive in together" process similar to the Vintage. That is not the case.
Chris' statement that all the e9s will be parked together refers to those e9s that have applied and been accepted to Legends East. I determined to post this rather long-winded comment primarily because the list of coupes that fall into the applied and accepted category is not the same as the listing that is being compiled in this thread. Doug McKenzie, by way of example, has indicated that he will be attending but is not showing his car. This means Doug won't be parking with the e9s that are in the show. Similarly, Andrew has his 1600 Cabriolet entered in the Legends East show, so while he is driving Athena down to Hilton Head for O'Fest, he won't be bringing her to Legends East. (There are three events in Hilton Head the first weekend in November: The Hilton Head Concours d'Elegance, O'Fest and Legends East.)
So, if Oldbmwcoupes is looking to see a large concentration of coupes and chat with a bunch of sophisticated, good looking coupe owners, Legends East is the place to be. If, however, he wants to park in and among this large collection of coupes, he will need to apply and have his vehicle accepted into the event (assuming it is not too late to do that). And if he wants to see a specific coupe - perhaps to compare his car to something someone else has done - then he needs to identify which if the three events that the owner may be attending over the course of the weekend and plan to attend that event.
