I have been considering a quick jack. I used to have a midrise lift but sold it when I sold my 911.

Did you install your cross brace or did it come with the car? Does a cross brace require any mods or is it a simple bolt-on part?

I installed it. There was some grinding to get it to fit.

A mid-rise lift would be great if I had a 3 or 4-car garage with one space dedicated to the lift. They are too heavy to move about. The QuickJack is a great second option and I am completely satisfied with it.

What brand is it and where did you buy it? I like the idea of an engine bay brace for our E9s but only if it doesn't present any major headaches.

I got it from a forum member here (daddywad). I spent about 60 minutes fitting it but not everyone has had to make any modifications
