New BAT offering (1972 BMW 3.0CS 6-Speed)

I'm a bit surprised this pulled in more money than Mike Pelly's Polaris car, given the clueless sales effort, paint issues and the trunk. Personally I thought the Polaris car a more honest, straight coupe, but the market on these cars is hard to judge right now. Go figure.
 
I think this is another example of the E9 hysteria that has gripped those who can now buy something classic, and these Coupes keep surfacing and attracting big dollars. There is still a pool of folks who want one in their garage, and the BAT model appears to give them just enough to satisfy.
