let me explain myself, my first oil cap had the gasket replaced and still spills oil
ib that case the problem was an interior break of the cap construction itself, if you look carefully you will see how it is built and you will quickly identify the leakage possible ways
lets hope that in your case a new gasket solves it all
Hi DeQ, its not that its leaking, just that I want to get it chromed and the old gasket seems too brittle to survive removal and refit - i may try heating it and then removing it.
