thanks SF Don..if you own a BMW E9 and live near Alameda ca and need work on your car..this shop is amazing that is all they do E9.. and Don is such a nice person...

For future reference, the first generation Saab 900's use the same fan motor. I had an '87 900 at the time and I thought they looked very similar. I couldn't believe my luck when it had the same motor bolt pattern. The fan blade diameter is larger though so you need some spacers to move the fan down about a 1/2" or so to prevent the fan blade from hitting the hood when it's open.
