Looks fantastic, how do you put the chrome trim on without bending it? I am doing the same, but find it very hard to put the trim on

my thumbs are not only legendary (as someone said once) but stronger than yours I guess
yes, use your thumbs, i feel almost imposible to avoid bending it using tools, thumbs give you control and precission,...:)

I am about start this project, and your post(s) give me great confidence! One question - did you use a spray adhesive between 1) wood and foam, and/or between 2) foam and vinyl? I've seen auto-upholsters video to use a spray adhesive but your project looks as good.

wood foam is impact glue,
foam vynil nothing, never
