Do I correctly understand that you will be producing these parts so as to be indistinguishable from the originals which are protected by copyright laws, right down to including the Heyco trademark ?
I work on copyright and trademark issues and I can assure you that if Heyco hasnt given you permission you could be in for a world of hurt. As I said before, I appreciate your involvement with this hobby and I'd hate to see that come to an end due to legal issues.
As an alternative, have you considered asking them to produce an authentic re-issue which you could fund in exchange for sole distribution rights ? That keeps it legal, moral and more valuable to your customers.
