There's an ancient saying in the car world... "Nobody wants someone else's hot rod". You can build whatever you want and you may well love it, but that doesn't mean there will be at least two people that will go gaga for it when it comes up for auction. This was an interesting build but certainly not my cup of tea either. It might have done better if he put it at a more standard ride height as the E9 (to me at least) tends to look "funny" or not quite right when lowered too much. To my mind it messes up the proportions. This was also more of a resto-mod and this community is more of purist, or at least want something that is a bit more period correct. JMHO and qualified as such.
