Mine, older BMW motor sports came with the car
Suggestion: a miniature rare, original? Blue Cloth. Won't scratch the steering column.
Very jealous to see your key-ring collection. I have 3 sets of E9 keys but no key-rings. Does anyone know who sells period BMW, Alpina key-rings or does the E9 Forum or E9 Register do a key-ring? I need to buy 3. (i looked on EBay for BMW kay-rings but they are all modern looking, cheaply made items)
But after looking at all the options here I think I need to swap

Every time I see or think of 60s 70s BMW keys or keychain key rings I think of this
“Show your keyring” thread.....
I hope HB got a picture of the lightweight keychain
Nudge nudge wink wink
I don’t know if you remember this ad
If I could I would edit the details in all the keys in this thread, it scares me.
To keep this on topic here is the much sought after
New, modern and different layout
I got this one recently for my birthday
For the Raven, my wife had this hand tooled keyring made from an artist in the Czech Republic. The subject matter is fitting...
Got a new key ring as a stocking stuffer for Xmas.
Doug, you include the valet key on it, are you planning to toss the keys to an attendant on South Beach?
Ha, that was only for the pic. I would never valet the car and removed anyway because the second key adds to scratching the steering column cover.
I have bought a number of vintage and repro fobs from this outfit in England: https://classicleatherfobs.co.uk/. Richard, the owner, is very helpful and honest. I had a small quality with one fob that I ordered and he immediately replaced it. Not always cheap, but tremendous variety and selection of leather colors and shapes.
Stephen, I like the new, hand tooled leather Raven contrasting with the well-used, aged, slightly battered key.
