World Brake Resources had them in stock. Was able to purchase through Zygmunt Motors in Doylestown PA.

Now to drive it some and see what unfolds.

Thanks all for the help.

the caliper is essentially the same however there is a 1cm steel spacer between the 2 halves of the caliper.
The calipers for almost all the early big sixes and the ti/tii/turbo are the same with the only variation being if they have spacers or not. Later six cylinder Bimmers used a vented caliper with slightly thicker pads but still bolt up on the early sixes and '02s with the ti/tii/turbo strut. The later calipers are heavier and the halves are held together with bolts that thread into threaded holes. The early calipers used bolts and nuts. See attached comparison pic.

We have caliper spacer kits to convert any of these early/late calipers from non-vented to vented. Then, all you really need are the vented rotors. Please see this page:

As it turns out my niece's husband knows them so I may have gotten a discounted rate at 70 per rotor. So quite the bargain.

Has been a bit of a learning curve but getting to know my way around the car.
