And you guys in the US for sure must earn tons of money, 75k for the cheap affordable Tesla!!

The model they are selling here in FL is the mid range model with RWD, and it stickers for 50k, or 42.5k after 7.5k government subsidy (a tax credit). The subsidies are expiring soon, however.

Once they satisfy the orders for the mid range and high range model, they will begin building the basic model, which will cost 35k.

Our Tesla model uses about 3 cents worth of electricity per mile. Put another way, it costs 3 dollars to drive 100 miles. Super cheap to run. Our electricity is cheap here in the US in most areas because we are awash in cheap natural gas thanks to hydraulic fracking technology.
