The worst I have ever seen

There was one on ebay UK probably worse. Cant find the listing but it had sagged to the point the base of b pillar was on ground. This one is pretty bad though :)

There was just a coupe on FB that somebody was planning to restore. Metal on top wasn’t as bad but underneath it would give this a run for its money

If the bottom looks like that, i find it hard to believe that the top would be ok-isch

On the other hand; if you have to replace a spare wheel well because 20% is rusted out, it is about as much work compared to an 80% rusted part.

Heck, the fully rotten part may be easier to remove even.

The challenge with be the rockers, sills, floors, bottoms of pillars, and subframe mounts. Everything will need to be jigged into position because the car will not offer any insight into that.

Just shake your head in wonder and smile. Keep up the chatter on this one. Loving all your witty comments.

I do wish for more key photos.

Ok well here’s the link - the OP explained that in order to ship, import and register a good coupe in Brazil it can be up to $250k US. Whereas labor for welders and upholsterers is cheap. It’s interesting and I can see the logic, but I can’t help but wonder if there isn’t a middle ground with a car that’s a little less far gone?
