Thoughts on engine removal

When it is time to undercoat the car, I had great success with a product called U-POL. It is something you can purchase at an auto body paint store. It is primarily used to coat a truck’s bed liner. The cool thing about it is you can buy it in black color for the undercarriage and you can buy it and clear and then tint it with a color to use as a coding/sounding layer on the interior.

You can also buy some products at Summit racing. It sprays on with a “Schultz “gun and an air compressor.

Engine compartment looks great, I’ve had wonderful results with the spray cans on several cars I’ve done.

Could not agree more about Raptor Liner from Upol. Incredibly durable urethane based liner and the tintable version can be color matched to pretty much any color. Here are some pictures of the undercarriage and engine bay on my 1970 2002 I sprayed with Raptor many years ago. I also included a picture of my 1986 Ford F350 dump truck that I recently painted with Raptor in a light gray. Very forgiving and easy to apply using either a shutz gun or even a roller or brush. Still requires good prep and masking.

That is even less muffler than on my car :)
Is there a sound clip available?
Cheers, Dan
Dan, the Magnaflow in the picture was wayyyy too loud.

I had to go with baffles and a larger 6” unit that works well.
Give a call and I can text you a video/help with part numbers.
