AS information, I'm 99% sure the '74's were not equipped with the trunk storage tray. It was provided in the '73 I had back in the mid 70's, however. The added stiffener in the '74's trunk behind the wheel well might preclude this tray from fitting.

I actually have a storage tray (I think it's from an E3). It is in good condition, but would benefit from a bit of paint restoration. For sale for $25 plus shipping!!

Send me a private message with your email address for pictures.

Thank you Gary - and you are correct - after researching further I could not find 74 e9 models with the storage tray but thank you for the kind offer.

Anyone know where I might find an E9 trunk storage tray where I don't have to mortgage my house to buy it? It's for a 1971 3.0cs
Thanks

I believe I bought one for my 72 Bavaria, from Alprada. But it may have been from a guy in Germany. I can check if you want. Alprada makes perfect reproductions. He also make back pieces for the trunk of the Bavaria, it goes along the back lip over the lock and the trunk light switch. As far as I know, a couple of Bavaria people have bought them and been happy.

Hi, Good Morning
How can I purchase one from you sfdon? I'm located in NJ, so the one sent from California for $225 including shipping should work...
Thanks

Because I’m right handed and it IS a storage caddy I installed mine on the left side of my 1974 coupe‘s trunk leaving the right side open and available to put items in and take them out. IMHO - the caddy belongs on the left side!

Here are 2 pictures of the bin storage area from my 72 and 74 Coupes. The 74 has the storage unit removed and the 72 has it installed. In my Coupes there is no difference between the two and the bins are interchangeable. Maybe the phrase “Don’t believe everything you think” applies here.
Regards, Jon
