Well the weekend has been and gone, and I'm very happy to say that I have successfully fitted the rear side windows back into the car, my re-wiring and relaying of the switching has worked very nicely also, I haven't had a chance to time them yet, But I judging from the speed, I think the world record for the fastest E9 windows may be challenged soon :)

Onto the door windows next !

May i ask, how did you make the windows go soo quick? My drivers side isent that bad, goes up in around 10 seconds, but the passenger side take round 3 months! hahaha, what is to be done to make them run faster?

(of course it is not necessary to carry over all the jobs, concentrate in cleaning, regreasing, and adding relays)

fastest windows

do a search for door window times: fastest windows in the west. 2010

from the top, all the way down then back up

manual wind-up = 6 secs
fastest electric (non stock) =6 secs
