What Battery?

We get asked this a lot lately since the original battery is no longer available.

Our current favorite is the BMW battery
that shows the BMW logo and the label has scripted “ Original Batteries “

It’s a great look.

Thank you @sfdon YOU ARE AMAZING. If you do get this battery it is smaller than the tray, and smaller than my last one but fits fine.

I'd recommend a 12 volt battery to start... Those little 9 volt transistor jobs just don't seem to cut it...

As for which 12 volt one? First consideration woudl be that the positive and negative terminals are inthe right place. After that, cranking amps, and, for the purists, a white box with a BMW logo, although you might be well advised to just get a white box printed to drop the battery into, so as to avoid any acid damage...

My 1.2 volts..
