I had two main issues:
1. I purchased inexpensive vehicles that were non-op. Both vehicles required significant work and I underestimated my free time - so it became obvious that it would be years before either vehicle was in running condition.
2. I was fortunate to be able to store and work on my cars at a friend's industrial warehouse (his vehicles are stored inside). My vehicles were covered and stored outside in a fenced yard (including razorwire at the top of the fence), but they drew attention.. thieves cut through the fence to see what was being stored. As a result of the burglary, my friend asked me to vacate the premises.
If I return to the E3 platform, I will purchase a fully operational car as the starting point for a new project. I'm not concerned about the interior.

I’m assuming that since the thieves left the E3s they recognized the job for what it would be!
Ive seen quite a few pretty decent to very nice ones go for sale recently. I'm sure you will find the perfect one for you.

That is a bitter sweet image! The time and money factor in a car hobby can be immense.

I have just the ticket but you will need a bigger rig than this one ….that moved your cars !
And maybe move to 1000 miles north!

Refreshed the taillights today, NOS lenses I had and installed really nice gaskets from @TomHom. I ordered the wrong LED bulbs, (except the turn signals). They are super bright, at least twice as bright as stock incandescent bulbs. Can’t wait to install the rest. I left the front turn signals incandescent for now so I do have to change out the flasher.

I replaced my clutch slave cylinder not too bad I did it from the side reaching under the car after I jacked it up and secured it. I bleed the slave cylinder after I attached the hose but before I secured it to the bell housing with bleeder screw facing up. I let it sit with bleeder screw open over night also. Finished it the next day all was well. Clutch response is very quick.
How is your pedal throw before and after?
Where did you get the slave cylinder? I broke down and bought one on eBay today. They’re out of stock everywhere I searched.
