This all day long. If in doubt, spend more to get better quality - Much cheaper and far less heart-ache than having an accident where the extra grip could have made the difference!I have to say that I never compromise on tyres for any car. If you think about it, it’s the only part of the car that actually has contact with the road. And that contact area isn’t very big!
We have 205/55/16 on the frontsI'm going to rattle the conversation, and offer a plus two application from 14" to 16" wheels. 205/55/16 front, and 225/50/16 rear. Perfect fitment on my CSi. Cheers
Does anyone run this combo? Kind seems like you would get a staggered look, and in the Pirelli CN, this setup would be roughly $200 cheaper? Thoughts?A period road test (Motor Sport Feb ‘73) states the 7x14’s wear 195/70’s on the front and 205/70’s on the rear. Pirelli CN36.
