Window regulator speed

Electrically speaking I'm dumber than I thought I was!

While attached to the battery it works just fine. I did grind down the rivit.

The battery box is a good idea.

So it sounds like it’s working for you now? Here’s a picture of the battery box. And you can see the probe sits right in there for storage.

Has anyone converted to a manual, hand crank for the windows? I had a CSL years ago and it had hand crank front windows- no issues!!
Any help with converting would be appreciated.
