Yeah, I suppose it is the gear and I guess that W&N are thinking that if you can open the windows with a flat piece of plastic with teeth you can also use an additional gear!

With the gear you could make something fit in the hole and thereby make the gear easier or faster to use that the original flat piece of plastic. Just thinking out loud.
 
That gear fits on the rubber coupler between the motor and the gearbox - it's too far recessed in there to get anything mechanical in there - but you're right - it takes forever to move the window with the tool.
 
Production soon

My cousin is going to measure the window tool and make exact duplicates.
He does this sort ofmthingnfor a living and thinks the cost would be about $25.00 each.
Does that sound reasonable? I will know more in a couple of weeks.

Going back over the posts, I tally 22

Does anyone else want in?
 
I can't quite picture how this works, but hell yeah, I want in for $25.

If your car is the older than 1973, you will see round plugs on the door cards and on the card panels near the rear seats. This tool will operate all four windows.
 
i originally said i was interested - and if the price was reasonable, i'd take 2. i'm in for 2.
