The belts are getting installed purely out of OCD driven need to complete the look. There's not a chance anyone is fitting in that back seat!STRONGLY recommend you have the webbing on your belts replaced for safety reasons
That's my theory, I have 2 point for front and rear. Statistically speaking I'll take my chances with old webbing.Guys, how beneficial are the original rear set belts in the event of an accident anyway?
In my car they are only fixed at two points.
I accept that the webbing could have decayed a little and also the stitching, but will they get the force to damage them rather than let the occupant slide out?
This just got me thinking, so I thought I’d ask your views?
