Open to both styles:
• Aluminum raised letters, and
• Enamel ones which are heavier and have copper substrate.
They just need to be “vintage” ones “not new” ones which even from BMW have a different color of blue for the propeller.
Trivia note:
• Aluminum ones have solid stalks and are affixed from the outside with grommet press fittings. Easy to remove later on as needed.
• Enamel ones have threaded stalks which are captured with nuts from the inside of the C-Pillar. Same thread/size as the belt line trim nuts. Very difficult to remove later.
