I have one piece.
The anodized belt trims for the rear quarter panels???
I'm looking for the rear interior ones that go on the leather panels.
Florida-if I can source a 2nd one I'd be interested. These things seem to come up as a set.

Will, are you looking for the metal trims that go on the interior side panels, (above the rear arm rests)? if so, i will check as i think i have a spare set of those that will fit a 2800cs. the 2800cs and the pre '74 3.0cs have the same size (shorter than the '74).
Yes that is correct. My car is a 70 so it sounds like it should be a fit.
i'm supposed to have 3 sets of these, but i have only found 2 sets ... no idea what these are worth, and probably shouldn't part with them. i just know they aren't easy to find. they aren't perfect, but they aren't bent to hell ... and they include the mounting cleats.
what do you want for them?
i truly have NO idea. let me sleep on it, but believe me that i don't think i'm hanging on to a pot of gold.

Will, you will find that there are holes in the side panel - the thicker side of the metal trim goes up ... and you match the angle of the metal trim with the front of the panel. you push the metal tongs thru the holes, then position the trim in the correct place and bend the tongs over on the back side. they you are done.
nope. my panels were recovered so there are no holes in the material. will see if there are holes on the panel substrate.
the holes should be on one of the 'seam' lines. originally a cast thread seam. yours may now be an actual sewn seam. question is whether the original card was reused or whether they made a new card. if they reused the cards, then the holes are there ... whether they lineup with the seam is something altogether different.
one other question is, when they recovered your panels, did they leave the rear window motor access cover? if they covered those holes over, these trims will be short as they come from a pre '74 CS which had the sardine can motors.

I don't think they left the rear covers which then leads to the next question. Should these be red if I have a red interior or black?
