I am missing the chrome trim piece that dresses up the outer driver's seat rail in my 73 CSi.

Please PM or email me direct at [email protected] if you have one you can sell me.

Thanks!
Dan

Dan,

while you are ordering, you should order the seat trims ... shipping is expensive, and i know with the new leather coverings on the seats, you will want the new trims - https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/sitze/bmw-2-5-cs-3-0-csl-e9/katalogbild-52-05.html

2 - A52101801469 - 8.40 euro each
4 - A52101805732 - 10mm chrome caps - 6.30 euro each
2 - A52101823887 - seat handles - 12.27 euro each
1 - A52101804110 - seat rail covers - 46.18 euro

check the handles that stick up thru the plastic chrome seat rail covers.

Don't want to worry you, but on your photo also lower chrome trim of seat is missing (that is above the rail). "Bow" type trim.

you are in luck Dan, i have 4 of them. they aren't real pretty as the plastic chrome has oxidized, but perhaps you know somebody who can refinish them. good thing that UPS was closed yesterday afternoon.

the other option is when you take the sliders off of your blue velour seats, the plastic pieces come off at the same time. you can just move it all at one time.

One of my plastic chromed seat rail was broken. Since shape isn’t anything special I decided to have it made out of stainless steel.

Original plastic one is shaped to fit perfect. The one I had made is straight but since it is thin it gets shaped like it supposed to once you screw it into place. I made set for myself but I have material left to make another set if anyone would be interested let me know. Or if more people will be interested also you are welcome to ask me anything.

Very nice @RTHLSS1!

I also have a bunch of these to unload for free. I won’t split them up but I can send them to anyone in the US that needs some. My apologies to the international folks - covid.

These are clean. I would put aluminum or mylar tape over them to look nice.

Looks very nice, you just need to find some pan head screws and not the recessed type.
