Hoping someone has a resonator and muffler for a 1972 E3 Bavaria. Prefer new, but good used might work as well. Here is a pic of what is needed - I have the two downpipes already. Will be at The Vintage and could pick up there if that works.

Thanks Dick, saw your earlier post saying that and sent an email - no response yet. BTW, you and your Bav are my role model for working on mine - Thanks so for sharing so much of your process and work - invaluable!!!

Thanks guys...but the only way my Bavaria was completed was with all the help from this forum. I had too many questions, but forum members always supplied the answers. It was a fun and satisfying project due to this group.

Did you try Rock Auto, have gotten a couple of sets for 2002's from them

Thanks, Rick
Thanks - I did, along with W&N, Maximillian, Ireland Engineering, Fritz's Bits, and many others. Alphonso Taylor has a used one, but hoping for a new one. I did find a set on Ebay Germany, but they no longer will ship to the US. The hunt continues.

Has anyone had a custom exhaust built for an E3? I asked ChatGPT AI to design a custom exhaust for the Bavaria and it did a pretty good job - it looks pretty straightforward, just not stock. Would probably be able to do it in stainless steel.
