i will start this series of "show your ..." with the engine area

i think a catalog of the different areas of the coupes might be very valuable to others that wanted to know where to start a restoration, alternatives, possibilities, ideas,...

there are plenty of threads asking about a radio setup, how seats look like,...

so lets see if we can cover the whole car

please add a little description of the car, year, model, variations,...

a 1973 3.0 CS Automatic (Borg Warner) with stock zenith carbs, original fan, engine bay with original insulating material (never removed). Cover of wiper motor is present and even a kit for radio interference suppression. Sealings are all original. Also a Walloth & Nesch Domstrebe.

1980's 3.5 block. Stock crank with lightened rods. B35 head with Paul Burke 10.5:1 pistons.
All the rocker arms were blueprinted with double springs and bigger valves by 1mm.
Titanium retainers.
Complete balance including flywheel, pressure plate and balancer.
Using a Paul Burke #2 cam. Not the hottest but driveable.
Some minor cleanup of the ports.
Triple 45 DCOE's with electric fuel pump and 123 Distributor.
Hasn't been on the dyno yet.
Approx 250 HP.

It was the BMW Exide battery that is now NLA here, it was six years old and recently replaced. Wish they still sold them!

There is a new Calcium Technology BMW battery, exactly like yours, in 65 ah too, all white! I've written to ask if it's available in E9 size. Will post. Picture added.

First of all STUNNING mill you've built ! Just put an M90 in mine and want to put triple 40's and headers on it, any advice would be appreciated !
