Yes they were rolled before painting but not trimmed.
By the way there are 15mm spacers on the rear in the pictures.

Well the initial drives of the car have been going great. The engine is running really well now after a little more fine tuning. Super happy about this :)

The brakes however are not great at all... the pedal feels a bit "floaty" or "spongey" initially before becoming hard when pressed and braking force is weak.
I have the feeling that something is wrong with the 2002 tii booster and I'm not getting brake assistance. (I bought it rebuilt from a workshop)
I cannot lock up the wheels, even with a lot of pedal pressure. I bled the brakes again already and pumped through completely new fluid. I made sure the vacuum check valve is working and the correct orientation, I did the "foot on the pedal while starting the engine" trick and the pedal did drop a tiny bit suggesting there is some vacuum pressure.. but not a lot? The pedal didn't sink to the floor..

Does anyone have another suggestion to try before I have to remove the booster and open it up?

I would use a handheld vacuum pump to pump up the brake booster and then watch the gauge when you put pressure on your brake pedal to see if all of the vacuum disappear disappears

Just gorgeous! Love the contrast of the deep blue and black against the chrome, with the black bumper mending in! Whereabouts in Switzerland is this?
