That car has my old Nardi with custom horn button. I had it in my coupe for years, I know for sure it's the same one because my daughter accidentally put the little nick in the top of the horn button.

I sold it here to a guy on the coast, now it back in Portland.

Nice car, but puzzling.

SOme pics, it shows BLACK interior, other pics show BLUE!

Seller says it's black, but...

There were a few questions about the color of the interior. The seller did say it was black but in a later reply confirmed it was blue.

@Bravo,

Who is complaining? @teahead has recommended improvements for every car sold. He didn’t complain about anything.

I complained about the misleading photos on the seat color, which has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

Do sunroof coupes use the sun visor clips without the header panel?

No they have a slightly different header panel, but it isn’t all that different from the slick top. The visor clips are recessed. One could assume that if BMW used raised visor clips for the sunroof CS they would be white versions of the standard CSL clips (which these are not).

At any rate, if a car is to have an aftermarket sunroof, a period Golde roof would be the way to go. It is quite deep compared to factory though, so headroom could be an issue for some.

I’ll update with a BaT pic of another sunroof car.

Note the depth difference between the factory roof and aftermarket Golde:

(Shout out to @Stan who sells the reproduction deflector shown below. I’m not sure if David’s was original or not. I won’t mention the original manufacturer to avoid confusion. :D)

The BAT car's sunroof looks OEM-ish for sure. Even that header panel, but those are the wrong (CSL/Porsche style) visor clips:
