The m3 version and the 1984 version of the getrag 265 do not have speedo gears

For those who have read about the difficulties of extracting these babies from the transmission, before you go and rig up something elaborate, try taking the easy route. I wrapped some electrical tape around the jaws of a channel locks plyers and mine pulled right out with only a moderate amount of effort.

23121630150 measures 30X42X25 (nla)

23221224469 measures 30X42X2.55 which still can be ordered.

I think the difference (half a mm) is small enough where it can be a valid substitute

The gear from a four speed 2002 is from what I remember the same, an early 2800cs may have a ZF manual box so that would be different, all automatics are from memory different,

According to RealOEM it fits all of these cars, even 265/5 and 265/6 and even some automatics.
