3,3Li project in Norway

Some pictures from restoring ugly old hardware. In total I picked up 5kg of shiny replated hardware today. All engine and engine bay related.

Typical condition before:

Degreasing, and then soaking in lukewarm vinegar for some hours to strip rust and old zink plating.

That’s fabulous. Do you replace refinish the parts yourself? They have an excellent finish.
oops, I needed to correct that question. Totally different intention...
Are there still a lot of smaller, mom and pops type repair or refinish shops in Oslo?

On the picture with the oil filter housing, the decal seems quite large. Is there enough place on the housing for both the large and small text plus the roundel?
