Some pictures from restoring ugly old hardware. In total I picked up 5kg of shiny replated hardware today. All engine and engine bay related.

Typical condition before:

Degreasing, and then soaking in lukewarm vinegar for some hours to strip rust and old zink plating.

After bathing:

Your decals are great, I don’t think e9 had that small writing, just large plus roundel.
