according to the Hoffman memo, it was to "correct the headlamp height to federal standards."I think it was bumper height. Amazing the NHSTA could get involved in that over 50 years ago, but the current crop of bureaucracy can not figure out that the height of headlights in large SUV's and pickups results in these cars nearly blinding oncoming car drivers who have 'normal' passenger cars or our 'classic' models.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED,? if you are in Los Angeles I can give you a phone number, the guy came my home and took him half hour and he charge $300 I try 3 deferent company 1st one play 2 hour and he couldn't do it 2nd person destroy my brand new windshield seal and couldn't do the work I had to order another seal, and this guy said give me 30 minute I will complete the work front and back, he was very good and professional, let me know.WHATS THE BEST WAY TO REPLACE THE REAR WINDOW SEAL?
