I’m cleaning up shop here at home and I’m just gonna download all my various Coupe files and Bimmer files here. This used to be the only place where I could actually read all the files that came out in a weekly! newsletter. Good old days long gone
It’s funny to think back to days when I used to be conscious about the bandwidth I used. Anyways I’m sure most of this is posted elsewhere and I’ve stolen it from all over the World Wide side Web But if you don’t mind…

a fellow from Alberta came to look at the cars and we think we have determined that this 1972 #2259282 car must have a newer style front nose?
He also suggested that the color and style of the printer in the inner nose suggests a replacement part?
I’ve distracted it down to get rid of undercoating and started sanding loose paint of!

i try to it make ONLY reversible changes. I AM SCRAPING AWAY ANY any rust i find and sitting por15 and or surface sealants, and by that i mean…what is on the shelf. But only as shallowas possible to get to stable surface.

2250282 would be a Jul/Aug 1972 build date so it might have been replaced. You see these all the time on older coupes including BMWs CSLs!

I’m going to try and fill some deep leather cracks and blend in some die.
Trying to find a good mix chart for red leather 2727.
i wonder if anyone knows what close to our red?

I’m going to assume
CLASSIC RED 1130B is what i need
but…
CARDINAL RED 2404
looks close, but was used in E30s.. so probably later.

So…some happy client may have a Formula or code for something they that worked out ?
That client or leatherique may have a colour mix in their file.?
i wonder how we could get that on record here.

my car has the original seats which are not perfect. I’d be happy like to get something close.
