Friday we made a little step forward dropped off Seat covers at the upholstery shop…and I drove out and checked on progress on the coupe at the body shop almost ready for first prime…
Dave I’m going to finish the two cars I have going now before deciding what car will be next…but right now I plan on driving this coupe coast to coast in 2023…The Sahara car'd look good in there....and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Andrew the addition is 28’x28’x15’ (784sq/ft) tall my existing car work area is 25’x32’ (800sq/ft) so this will double my interior space… I was constricted by the two massive oak trees on size, My goal is to move the lift and tramway system from the front of my shop to the interior of this addition so the front of my shop/retirement office doesn’t look so much like a garage…What are the shop's final dimensions?
Have you visited garagejournal.com yet? They love projects & seeing progress too.

Freshly Restored 1972 3.0cs Baikal blue

Barney, you will get a much truer Baikal by matching original paint, as you know and are doing, than relying on current "original" formulations that various vendors use today. A high-end painter here matched my hood most closely by mixing a variant of a Peugeot color, of all things. And you're right about Ceylon -- it may be trickier than Baikal.Don I’m using BASF paint and this matches the color under the panels on the trunk lid…Baikal sure has different coloration depending on the light… more concerned about my 2002 being painted Ceylon being the “right” color
