Barney’s Baikal Blue coupe refresh

Any trouble getting materials for your garage build? I've heard that garage doors have been in short supply. I'm about embark on a somewhat smaller garage build for my house. About 550 square feet.

Having been a self employed GC doing special Procedure rooms in hospitals ( ORs, cath labs, CT scanners, LDRs, NICC rooms) for thirty two years I understand The importance of having the needed materials on hand at the correct time so I always try to order early…the garage doors were the only real problem and we offset that some what because our doors were not the normal residential size, so they were more available we used 10‘ x 10‘ doors I wanted to be able to drive my Kabota backhoe into my shop if I needed to… I will have a lift and adjacent tramway system.

Big move today, coupe moved into shop for a little prep work before dropping off to have headliner installed next Friday…some assembly required on coupe…great progress on 2002tii

Excellent, Barney. I'd love a gantry crane like that...Inspiring me to get a 12 foot steel beam & an electric trolley hoist to get heavy stuff upstairs & downstairs in my garage.

Getting the coupe ready to have the headliner installed tomorrow same fellow is re-doing the seats…

sizing up the red leather interior color with a exterior color, I’m very happy with it… It has a superman vibe to it for sure.

Picked up the coupe from having Headliner installed, the guys did a great job it looks perfect …dyed the sun visors and front panel.

Barney, talk to me about the ceylon tii ... for sale at some point?

850 shares of that fruit company…I’ll have the car at mid American 2002 fest in April 2023.

Went to drink from the e9 Renovation fountain of knowledge, had an incredible day / visit with this guy to pick a few pointer on my coupe refresh…after seeing and talking with Miklos i feel anything is possible, Miklos’s is a great guy warm and welcoming… the work he turns out is first class.
