I used BASF Paint…Barney, who's ceylon paint formula did you use?
ceylon formulas vary greatly, and as we know it changes a lot depending on the light. the spray-out sample seems very orange-gold, but it matches the engine compartment and is very close to @ccr2002's original paint CS. yours is very pretty, i've been afraid that mine is too orange. my paintI used BASF Paint…
The longest journey begins with a single step…moved the coupe into the shop today Starting to formulate my game plan, I’m gonna call in professional help to get the engine back together / to help install and get it started. Very excited to get starTed on coupe the Ceylon 2002tii is at painter getting some final work, running on its own power.
I was shocked when I tore down the motor I removed from my car that there’s no spring on the bell crank and the clip was even missing, replaced with a bit of wire. I guess that could explain the broken rocker. I pulled the mounts off the other motor I got with the car to have them powder coated and no spring there either! I just checked the engine I have for the car and it has no spring either. Hopefully I have one.Time for those camber plates, don’t forget the spring on the bell crank, new top bolt on oil canister, a new bleed screw, new headlight plugs and connectors and some fresh motor mounts. If your headlight and horn relay blocks are worn and ugly- now is the time to replace with the 3D copies. Looks very pretty!
