Don’t have a lot of choice, the ocean is only a couple of hundred meters away, but don’t worry I wash it regularly....

I was trying to be a bit silly with the assumption that you drove a distance for the picture but be careful with your car around the salt air. If your car is kept upwind of the prevailing winds and the ocean in a garage that is a plus. Downwind of that salty haze coming off that surf is something to be very diligent about.

In the US a 73 3.0CS was close to $14K, when the last 74s were sold in mid 75 they were closer to $18K due to the exchange rate.

Just as a point of reference, in 1970 I had an Olds 442 convertible, 455 cu in, Hurst close-ratio four speed, loaded. Invoice was $4545.

That list jogged my memory. My uncle bought his Interceptor III in late 73, from memory paid around £7500 and was torn between that and the AC Frua Coupe. CSL in the UK was a similar price IIRC at the time. Sold a house and put money on top to buy that car!
