Sxxt !!!

Sorry again !...
As an apologize, a pix of the beginning !
Neerpasch, Stuck, Amon, Berger...and Todt (so young !!!!!)

I'll say it again, fantastic collection. Great picture of the early days at the GmbH.

More factory pics..

The riddle

Pix of the 3 "Thyssen" stainless steel coupés on assembly lines.
The fate of one is still a mystery.
Any clue ?

To finish, my favorite..

I think we would have to look hard !...
For info, an Alpina E23 was transformed in "Touring" in the 80ies by "Garage du Bac".

For sale in France, isn't it?

Congratulation, You have a fantastic collection, I love early Motorsport items but they are really hard to find. Keep on posting!!

A unique conversion...

Thx Lorenzo,
No, this car was transformed 30 years ago and I don't even know if it still exists.
"Garage du Bac" famous in France for its BMW sportscars, used it for its customers parts delivery.
Here it is (hope to get the pix right !).

Yes I'll keep on posting (if kids let me breathe)...pre-war doc, 50ies monographies, various binders and other related items (csl models, schucos',posters, etc...)

Good night to all enthusiasts !

Incredible !!

My god, you're right !!!!
Just when thinking about it, it's for sale, so many years after.
The ad says " make a realistic offer".
...but it also says "some work to be done".

In no perticular order ..

Grey BHK / Note the thickness of E28 first volume (mechanical).

Orange BHK / "Ausgabe" is just a difference of language

Some BMW little handbooks /
-Upper left the ones (BMW Cars and bikes) costed 5 euros at the BMW Museum and gave all models with specs and dates.
Maybe still available overthere or on the net.
But the most interesting are those parts service booklets (given to every new staff of the parts shop).
Among various datas of the service, it provides ALL BMW ( also bikes) chassis numbers, year, dates of 1rst and last C/N , factory codes , ccs , power. All that lacks in the previous booklet.
Of course, everything now also available on the net (But we're in the 80ies).

More 50-60 brochures /

The famous BMW big 8 white book.
Warning, if you to buy one on the web, check this transparent page .
Reproduction are everywhere on the market ....and expensive.

Prices list / German / 06/58 , 02/59 and the US.

10 500 USD for a BMW 507 ????? Give me 2 !!

Yes, but we're in april 1959...

Now I understand why it's so hard to find automobilia stuff: You bought all already!
Service booklet are very interesting and full of information, I will hunt for some.
